My Services
Tailored Therapy for Healing and Growth
I use a contemporary psychodynamic-integrative approach to therapy with my clientele. This means that I integrate the most current theories about mind/body psychology to help you grow and heal. My skills come from significant training in: Relational psychoanalytic therapy, Trauma focused modalities informed by brain research (including EMDR, IFS and other somatic interventions), Family systems, Couples therapy, Mindfulness and CBT. I specialize in healing from narcissistic abuse, codependency/individuation, healing intergenerational trauma and improving self esteem. I also have significant experience treating binge eating disorder. My sessions are 50 minutes, with a one hour intake session. Some people come once a week, others two or three times depending on the circumstances, budget and insurance coverage. I work with individuals,18+, couples and families. I am an out of network provider which means I get paid at the time of service and I can give you paperwork to submit to insurance for reimbursement if applicable. I offer a warm, comfortable and safe space with compassionate care. I listen deeply not just to the story on the surface of what's happened to you but how that has affected you. Together we can create an individualized plan that is just for you...

My Approach
I have 15 years of experience and training as a psychotherapist and six years of specialization in the area of traumatology. I help my clients work toward creating the life they want to live and the relationships they want to enjoy. This may entail recovery from traumatic events -- whether a single event such as a bad breakup or a car crash, or a traumatic childhood or abusive relationship. To support your process of self discovery and healing I employ and integrate different techniques such as:
-
EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing),
-
Psychodynamic therapy
-
Ego State Interventions (a form of inner child healing),
-
IFS (Internal Family Systems),
-
CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy),
-
Somatic (body oriented) interventions based on Somatic Experiencing.
